Blog - Sandra Flach is an inspired woman of action

Sandra Flach

Sandra Flach is an inspired woman of action. She is a mom of eight - five of whom were adopted, an author, and a podcaster. She is also the co-founder of Justice for Orphans, a non-profit organization that provides support to biological, foster, kinship, and adoptive families in crisis.

Sandra is also the Justice for Orphans Director of Adoption and Foster Care Resources. Her weekly Adoption and Foster Care Journey Podcast provides education and encouragement to foster and adoptive families. She also travels the country to speak on the topics of adoption and foster care.

Two of her adopted children have been diagnosed with fetal alcohol syndrome. To support other families struggling with this diagnosis, she leads the Hope for the FASD* Journey on-line support community. She became a certified facilitator of the FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model** and trains parents and professionals on the topic of FASD.

She is an accomplished writer, winning a Golden Scroll award for her book “Orphans no More: A Journey Back to the Father.” She also wrote a devotional book for adoptive and foster moms, “Soul Care Saturday.”

Sandra Flach is certainly a woman who generously shares her heart and her experiences to guide and support other families along their journeys.

*Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders

** The FASCETS Neurobehavioral Model focuses on understanding and supporting individuals affected by prenatal alcohol exposure and other neurobehavioral conditions.
